A Creative Space to Host Your Event

We are excited to offer our versatile banquet hall available to rent at Cosmic Art Studios in Pottstown, PA! Our event space is perfect for a wide range of private events such as birthday parties, baby showers, business meetings, and more.

ABOUT THE SPACE:

Located on the 2nd floor of our historic building, our banquet hall boasts over 6,000 square feet of space and can accommodate up to 325 guests. As you enter, you'll be greeted by a beautiful foyer with a coat check closet and men's bathroom, while the women's bathroom is located towards the back of the hall.

The main hall features a stunning hardwood dance floor that was custom-made for the building in 1928, and is adorned with original artwork by John Gwinn. The hall also boasts a 19 x 15' stage with an additional 12 x 10' pull-out extension, perfect for performances or presentations.  In the front of the main hall features a mini bar that can be used as an open bar operated by your own guests or by our staff, who are available to serve your guests. We also have a refrigerator for storing cold drinks. Our state-of-the-art sound system is equipped to plug and play or host a live band. We also offer special effects lighting, a disco ball, and visual projectors.

Behind the stage, you'll find a comfortable lounge area that can be used for dressing, hanging out, or storage. Additionally, our fully furnished lounge is another space for your guests to gather. For those who prefer a view, our balcony overlooks High St and is outfitted with barrel tables and stools.

We offer customizable packages to fit your specific needs and budget, and our team is dedicated to making your event unforgettable. We can provide assistance with sound, lighting, photography, videography, DJ and live music, performing arts, decorating, and staffing. Please inquire to view the space, as well as availability, pricing, and available services. Note that our event hall is not available for public events unless we enter into a partnership agreement.

THINGS TO NOTE:

Although our elevator is currently out of commission, our two front staircases are available for use. Contact us today to schedule a tour and book your next private event in our beautiful banquet hall!

Throughout the duration of your event, it's possible that concurrent activities will be occurring within the venue. This could result in audible music and vibrations from other floors. The presence of music during your event typically masks external noises, making them less perceptible. However, during quieter moments, these external sounds may become more noticeable.

First Floor - Cosmic Arts: On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the first floor hosts public events from 7pm until 2am. It is during these times that music may be audible through the floor.

Third Floor - Smashville Badminton: Operating as a public club, Smashville Badminton is open for most of the week, from early in the day until late in the evening. The activity from the club can cause vibrations and sounds that may be heard during your event.

Please be mindful that while your event is in progress, there could be a public event occurring on the first floor, and the third-floor badminton club might be in session. This means that you should expect the presence of other individuals and ambient noises emanating from different areas within the building.

Rules & Information

  • Types of Events Allowed: 

    • Any private event is allowed. Any public event must be discussed for approval. 

  • What We Ask:

    • Respect the space and leave it how you found it. 

  • Other events in building:

    • During the time of your event there may be other events taking place. Music and vibrations may be heard through the floors. If there is music going during your event then outside noises are not so noticeable. It is when there may be moments of silence that outside noises can be heard. 

    • First Floor - Cosmic Arts - Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays public events are taking place on the first floor between the hours of 7pm and 2am. Music can be heard through the floor. 

    • Third Floor - Smashville Badminton - This is a public club that is open most days of the week early to late hours. You may hear vibrations through the floor of players. During the time of your event there may be a public event happening on the first floor. On the third floor there is a badminton club that may be actively playing badminton. Be aware there may be other people and sounds coming from other spaces in the building. 

  • Insurance & Liability

    • The ‘lessee’ assumes all liability.  ‘lessee’ is responsible for any property, items, artwork, and tangible assets broken, damaged and or stolen. Any property or items damaged the ‘lessee’ is fully responsible for repaying its value. Value will be based on retail price and or the value  chosen by a professional appraiser chosen by the ‘owner’ of the asset. The lessee is fully responsible for any injury, sickness or death that occurs to anyone on the property at any time during stated rental period including setup & breakdown & extended rental times. You give us the right to charge your card on file to cover the value of any broken, damaged and or stolen items. 

  • Space Rules & Regulations to abide by:

  • No smoking indoors ($200 fine imposed for violations)

  • No fires / propane heaters indoors ($200 fine imposed for violations)

  • No smoke machines ($200 fine imposed for violations)

  • No music on the balcony past 10PM

  • No music inside past 2 AM

  • No selling alcohol

  • No underage drinking

  • No personal sound systems with speakers larger than 8” without approval

  • No nails / screws in any wall or furniture to hang decorations, use removable sticky hooks. ($200 fine imposed for violations)

  • Setup & Breakdown: 

    • The space will be open for you during agreed setup times before your event. Typically we set the setup times as listed below, but we are very flexible and want to make sure your event is a success. 

      • You are allowed 30 Mins of setup time for each hour you rent the space.

      • You are allowed 30 Mins of breakdown time for each hour you rent the space.

      • You will be charged your agreed upon rate by the hour for any exceeded rental time

  • Security Deposit:

    • A $200 Security Deposit cash is required to rent the space - or - a copy of a valid debit / credit card (card will not be charged unless losses or over time).

    • This Deposit will contribute to cover any damage or costs incurred by messes left behind, as well as exceeding your rental time, or legal charges. Leave the space as you found it. The deposit will be returned to the lessee after space inspection by lesser within 24 hours after the event date. 

  • Payment:

    • Payment is due upfront full, in cash, or check. Unless noted and agreed upon a payment/deposit plan. If Choosing to leave a deposit to hold the date, deposits must be at least half the agreed total. Remaining balance is due a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event. Deposits are non refundable. 

  • Identity & Credit:

    • Lessee must obtain a copy of the lesser Photo ID, a Valid credit/debit card, required to rent the space. 

  • Belongings Left Behind:

    • Lessee is not responsible for lost, abandoned or stolen items left by you or your party. Any items left behind for longer than 48+ hours after your event ends remain in possession of the lessee

  • Fire Alarms: 

    • You will be charged a $400 fee for any false fire alarms set off in the building during your rental time. 

  • Tables and Chairs:

    • You are responsible for clearing all tables, chairs, floors and surfaces of garbage and messes. You can leave the tables, table cloths, chairs where they sit for our team to remove. 

  • Trash:

    • Our team will leave out trash cans and spare trash bags, please put all of your garbage in the cans & leave your full bags in the back stairwell exit hallway to the right of the stage. Leave the space as you found it.  

  • Catering Services:

    • You hire a catering company, no additional services needed. No additional fee.

  • Locking up the building:

    • You are responsible for cleaning, removing all of your belongings, removing all persons, shutting and locking the double doors to the second floor. All parties must end at agreed time, you may extend your party with permission. No party can go past 2am. You are responsible for any items, stolen or damages that occur due to not shutting and locking the doors properly. 


The lessee understands that this is a one time special private event rental agreement for the 2nd floor of 310 e high st. ‘lessee’ agrees to abide by all above rules and regulations and not to excess the space occupancy. The ‘lessee’ agrees and understands that this is a drug free space. The ‘lessee’ agrees and understands that alcohol is not to be sold in this space, without a liquor license.  The ‘lessee; acknowledges that 310 e high st does not have a liquor license.
